This is the evolution of my project "Autumn in a bottle".
I used a layer mask to insert the autumn picture into the bottle. The red leaves were cut out of a photo of a vine growing along a white wall which made it easy to use the quick selection tool. They were then pasted into the composition in an upward wave to represent the autumn smells seeping out of the bottle. This first version was good but left me unsatisfied.
I noticed that the bottle was not quite straight so I corrected the lean.
Then I decided to insert a sky background to give it a bit more of an ethereal feeling.
